Man City Vs Bayern Live Reddit Score 26 July 2023

Bayern Munich and Manchester City will offer up one of the most intriguing friendlies of the summer when they do battle in Japan on Wednesday. The Bundesliga champions had an outrageous start to their pre-season campaign, putting a cool 27 unanswered goals past Rottach-Egern, but might just be in for a little more of a competitive affair against a City side who thumped them 4-1 on aggregate in last season’s Champions League quarter-final en route to winning the treble. City’s 5-3 win over Yokohama F Marinos was equally as entertaining but now Pep Guardiola’s side are set for a serious test which could begin to tell them a lot about the coming campaign. Summer signing Raphael Guerreiro will miss out through injury, with the left-back joining a crowded treatment room alongside Manuel Neuer, Thomas Muller, Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting, Malik Tillman and Tarek Buchmann.

Marcel Sabitzer has left for Dortmund and Sadio Mane is likely to be left out as talks over a move to Saudi Arabia continue, but there could be an unofficial debut for centre-back Kim Min-jae. City were far too good for Bayern when these two sides squared off in competitive action last season, and although the pressure is off here, Guardiola’s side will be looking to make another statement with a big win. Injury problems have ravaged Bayern’s squad, but the introduction of Kim at the back could provide a fascinating battle against Erling Haaland. This could be a fun one for the neutrals, but expect City to come out on top. Pep Guardiola’s team will return to the Japan National Stadium on Wednesday 26 July as they take on Thomas Tuchel’s Bayern Munich.
