Arsenal vs Nottm Forest Live Reddit Score 20 May 2023
The Blues are looking to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time since March as Frank Lampard looks to try and finish what has been a disastrous season off strongly. Chelsea picked up a much-needed three points last weekend at Bournemouth but face a different kind of challenge this time around against Forest, who are still fighting for their Premier League status next season.
Steve Cooper’s men are now three points above 18th-placed Leicester City going into the final three matches of the season. Forest know that a win at Stamford Bridge could all but ensure Premier League football for a second successive season. However, Lampard has consistently spoke about his players taking pride in the work they do in the remaining matches of the campaign. Also these last few games could be imperative when it comes to Lampard landing another job once his interim contract expires.

The crunch showdown at the City Ground will still take place on Saturday, May 20, as originally scheduled. However, it will now kick off at the later time of 5.30pm UK time.
Announcing the broadcast selections for Matchweek 37 (and a new date for the postponed Newcastle United vs Brighton & Hove Albion fixture), the Premier League said in a statement: “The Premier League understands the importance of these announcements to supporters and apologises for the delay.
“Finalising these selections took longer than expected due to difficulties obtaining relevant local stakeholder approvals.”Back in the Premier League for the first time since the 1998/99 season, Nottingham Forest are in grave danger of an immediate return to the Championship. Having gone nine games without a league win, Steve Coooper’s men find themselves in 18th place, inside the relegation zone on goal difference. Most recently, Forest lost 2-0 to in-form Aston Villa.
They are now tasked with getting a result against a club that they haven’t beaten in nearly 30 years. Forest’s last victory over United came in December 1994, when goals by Stan Collymore and Stuart Pearce earned a 2-1 triumph at Old Trafford. Erik ten Hag’s men have won their last two games in the Premier League: they ended a run of three top-flight matches without victory by beating Brentford 1-0 on 5 April, before goals by Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial secured a 2-0 victory over Everton three days later.
But they tied a crucial game in Europe against Sevilla that can cause a ripple effect on a team that has lost Lisandro Martinez to injury and that it currently has no Marcus Rashford. United sit fourth, three points ahead of fifth-placed Tottenham – and with a game in hand.
